Team trip to The Little Retreat in Lawrenny
Team Carreg was overdue some team time, so we headed west to The Little Retreat in Lawrenny (www.littleretreats.co.uk) - they arranged a relaxing gong bath with G Nature & Wellbeing (www.gnaw.wales), wholesome pizza from Hugtasty Sourdough Bakery and wondrous stargazing with Dark Sky Wales (www.darkskywalestrainingservices.co.uk), plus we took a good walk in between.
A wonderfully unwinding time in a superb location - thank you The Little Retreat 🙏

Introducing groovy Gwen
Gwen joined Carreg Law in January 2022.
Gwen holds a law degree and is training to be a solicitor via the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route. The SQE was brought in in 2021 and is now the assessment for all aspiring solicitors in England and Wales.
Gwen speaks fluent Welsh and has lived in Llandeilo all her life. Gwen enjoys the arts and culture, travelling and getting involved with local events and causes.
Introducing fantabulous Freddie
Freddie joined Carreg Law in January 2022.
Freddie was born and grew up in South Wales and left to study law at King’s College, London. She has many years' legal experience ranging from a London law firm to running her own practice in Monmouth and, most recently, as Legal Director in the Wye Valley branch of a top 70 UK law firm.
However, her heart has always remained in Wales – and, as a Welsh speaker, is delighted to move back to live and work in Llandeilo. As part of the Carreg Law conveyancing team, Freddie will continue with the same friendly and efficient approach to working with clients. Her aim is to make the process of moving home as seamless as possible and to minimise the inevitable stress for clients.
Outside work, Freddie’s main focus remains her family but she also loves to garden, visit museums and art galleries and especially walk in the unrivalled local countryside
Welcome wonderful Wendy
May we introduce the wonderful Wendy, who’s now firmly settled into our Private Client team after joining Carreg Law in December 2021.
Wendy was born in Abergavenny and completed her Classical Civilisation degree at Lampeter University. After graduation, Wendy spent many years living in both East Sussex and Kent, where she qualified as a CILEX Lawyer.
Wendy is pleased to return to Wales and is looking to embrace all that the country offers. She has bought a mountain bike and has optimistically signed up to her local running club!
Wendy assists our clients with wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and probate. An Associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly and previously a Trustee for Age UK Thanet, Wendy is keen to offer care and support to all her clients at what is often a very challenging time. Wendy can be contacted by calling the office on 01558 678009.

This morning’s sunrise over Llandeilo by Anna 🙌

Anna and Charity have made decorated stones for the ‘key workers snake’ that’s forming in Penlan Park in Llandeilo 😊 Further info on the Llandeilo Rocks Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/225454511344082/
